Regina Children's Charter
The Regina Children's Charter was launched at Regina City Hall on November 29, 2010. It represents a positive vision for all children in Regina. The Charter was created in collaboration with individuals, agencies, and organizations whose goal is improved health and well-being of young children in our community.
The Children's Charter served to unite our community with a shared vision for our children, and was created following the results of local research on Regina children's early development through the Understanding the Early Years Initiative (UEY Regina). The Charter is on display at locations throughout Regina, and represents the continued vision and goals of the Regina Children's Initiative.
"The charter is evidence of an integrated community effort and demonstrates how change is a real possibility...It celebrates our children and provides a positive vision for future actions."
-Bob Layne, Executive Director with the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, on behalf of the RIC.
