Library Programs
The Regina Public Library (RPL) offers a great array of preschool programs FREE to all children and family members. To find information about ongoing library programs that require pre-registration, see the RPL's current At the Library guide.
Drop-in programs and one-day events that require pre-registration are listed in our website's Calendar of Free Activities.
- Mainly Mother Goose
A parent-child interactive program filled with songs, rhymes, bounces and books for children under two years.
- Toddler Time
A program of songs, stories, games and fingerplays for 2-3 year olds. An adult must accompany each child during the session.
- Preschool Storytime
A program of stories, songs, rhymes and related activities for children 3-5 years.
- Family Storytime
A program of stories, songs, rhymes and related activities for children 2-5 years and their parents.
- Aboriginal Family Storytime
A program of Aboriginal stories told through books, puppet shows, songs, rhymes and related activities for children 2-7 years old and their parents or caregivers. Basic Plains Cree vocabulary will be incorporated into the program. Siblings are welcome. Refreshments provided.
- ESL Family Storytime
Hear stories, sing songs, laugh with puppets and meet new people while practicing English. This storytime is for ESL children under 6 and their families.
- Storybag Drop-in
The Library has a selection of storybags on different themes. Storybags contain books, puppets, games, puzzles, toys and rhymes. Don’t miss the fun! Come to the Library and share a storybag with your child. For children 2-5 years.
