Children's Christian Soccer Camp
Dates: Mon to Fri, August 13 - 17, 2012
Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm
Cost: $30
This children's soccer camp is partially funded by and supported by Discovery Baptist Church. It is a half-day type program with a free wind-up BBQ for the families. The cost includes a t-shirt, a soccer ball, a water bottle, a sweat band, a booklet, and a carrying bag. It has drills games and learning times all with a Christian focus within a positive Christian environment.

City of Regina PlayEscapes (Free & drop-in)

Dates: Monday - Friday, July 9 - August 17, 2012 (No program Mon. August 6)
Times: 9:30am - 12:00pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm
PlayEscapes is a FREE summer drop-in program offered by the City of Regina for children entering Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by December 31, 2012) through Grade 7. The program offers leader-facilitated play opportunities that develop and foster life skills, creativity, imagination, positive self-image and promote a physically active lifestyle.
Children are not required to stay the entire time. Please complete a Participant Information Form on the first day your child(ren) attends the program. PlayEscapes welcomes children and youth of all abilities. Participants who may need assistance during the program are asked to bring an attendant.
Please note: Supervision will not be provided during lunch time! All children are required to be picked up at that time. The City of Regina partners with Regina Education and Action on Child Hunger (REACH) to offer a lunch program at some of the sites. Montessori Summer Camp
Dates: Weekly camps, July 9 - August 17, 2012 (Except Aug. 6
Times: Full days (8:30am - 4:30pm); Half-days (8:30am -12:00pm or 1:00 – 4:30pm)
Join us as the Montessori School of Regina brings inspiration and exploration together in six fun weeks of summer camp! Each week we will “visit” a different part of the world through enriching and entertaining programs.
Each camp will be based on a continent, including a variety of fun and enriching handson activities, exploration of flora and fauna, arts and crafts, games, language, songs and stories and culture of our planet. Students will enjoy learning in our relaxed environment, with some unstructured time each day, in addition to planned activities. Outdoor and physical activity time will be scheduled as well. The Montessory School of Regina is a registered charity and a not-for-profit organization.

Sask Science Centre Day Camps
Dates: July 9 - August 24, 2012
Time: 9:0am - 4:30pm (Drop Off: 8:30 - 9:00am; Pick Up: 4:30 - 5:15pm).
Saskatchewan Science Centre Day Camps are offered on select school holidays during the school year. We also offer very popular week long summer day camps during July and August.
Campers experience themed activities and experiments, science demonstrations, award-winning exhibits, an IMAX film that might even be in 3D, and ample time to run around and stretch their legs. They’ll also meet new friends and create memories that will stick around for a lifetime.
All camps, including School's Out Day Camps and Summer Day Camps, include:
- Exciting experiments and activities that are both educational and entertaining
- Exploration on the Science Centre exhibit floor
- An IMAX film
- Highly-trained camp leaders
- A great staff to camper ratio: one staff for every ten campers

Summer Day Camps 2012 (Ages 6 - 11)
A typical day at one of our summer day camps includes several different science activities scattered throughout the day, time for snacks and recess, exploration on the exhibit floor, a science craft or challenge, and a larger activity that might include an IMAX film, a visit to Candy Cane park, making liquid nitrogen ice cream, or a guest speaker. Climbing is also included in the camps for kids 9 to 11.

U of R Summer Day Camps for Kids
The University of Regina is the place to be this summer. We've got camps that will engage and delight the athletes, the scientists and the artists in every family! Below are camps for children ages 3 and up. The U of R also has camps for older children (for details, visit their website below).
Conservatory SPACE Camps - Young Performer Day Camps
For ages 3 - 13, choose from drama, dance, piano, strings or Kindermusik® camps. Campers can choose a musical adventure, to create their own play, or discover other creative pursuits! Early drop-off & late pick-up available. Camps are held at the Conservatory of Performing Arts on the College Avenue Campus.

Summer Sports School
For ages 4 - 12, children are provided the opportunity to participate an sports, science, aquatics and other physical activities in a safe, fun and non-competitive environment. Early drop-off & late pick-up available. All camps are held at the University of Regina.

YMCA Ta-Wa-Si Recreation Program (Free & Drop-in)
Dates: Monday - Friday, July 2 - August 17, 2012
Time: 1:00 - 5:00pm
The YMCA Ta-Wa-Si Recreation is a free drop-in program that combines recreational programming, leadership development, with a wilderness component.
Basketball, volleyball, swimming, baseball, obstacle courses, crafts, leadership games, and cultural ac-tivities. Lunches will be provided by REACH starting July 9th! Ta-Wa-Si Rec 2012 will be running at three sites in the city: Albert School, Kitchener School, and Thomson School.
At these sites, youth participate in sport recreation, craft activities and leadership development exercises with the added incentive of going on an expense-paid camping trip somewhere in Saskatchewan. This year, camping trips will run from July 17- 20, and the second from July 30- August 2.

YMCA Summer Day Camps
The YMCA of Regina runs three types of summer day camps. Pre and Post Care is available for children attending camp, and must be registered for, if needed. All participants must be pre-registered; drop-ins are not permitted. Camp registration and fees are due Friday @ 4:30 prior to the week attending.
Financial assistance is available through the YMCA Strong Kids Fund for a camp experience for families whose budget cannot reasonably accommodate the camp fees. We would like as many people as possible to benefit from a YMCA Summer Camping experience. Please contact the YMCA for more information at 757-9622.
General Day Camp (Ages 5 - 12)
Camps run weekly (Monday to Friday) from July 2 - August 31, 2012 (9:00am - 4:30pm).
Weekly rates are $177/non-YMCA member or $145/YMCA member.
Mighty Munchkins (Ages 3 - 4)
This half-day camp is perfect for your preschooler. This is a great way to get your child ready for play school or Kindergarten. Creative games, songs, crafts, recreational swimming, out trips, music and theme-based activities will fill their half-day (9am - 12pm). Weekly rates range from $55 to $81.
Special Needs Camp/ARC (Ages 6 and up)
Participants in this program will take part in day camp activities, learn new skills and have fun. Not only does this challenging program include swimming, outdoor activities, sports and drama activities but it also allows participants to be integrated with a day camp group. All interested people must meet with the day camp director prior to registering. Weekly rates range from $230 to $285, plus the $25 Autism Resource Centre (ARC) fee.
